Joshua turned 3 on the 3rd of August and I am proud to say that I made a cake that was not only safe for him to eat but one that everyone enjoyed. We discovered my son's allergy to eggs when he was 10 months old, all I could think of then was his 1st birthday that was 2 months away. If you know anything about cakes you know it needs eggs, lots of eggs. Being the mom that I am, I started searching for alternatives. I tried different recipes of how to make cakes without eggs .
I tried a lot of recipes until I found this one . The ingredients are simple and you can find them in most grocery stores. Please do your due diligence and read the list of ingredients, there have been times when a product states that it is egg free only for me to read the label and find out that it was manufactured on the same line as products that contain eggs 😒
The frosting was a simple recipe of butter and powdered sugar with a 1:2 ration. My son's favorite cartoon is Puppy Dog Pals so I knew Bingo and Rolly had to be a part of his birthday celebration.
